What should I do if...

I can log into the NetBank system, but I cannot set up simple transfer orders, standing orders and direct debits?

 

This problem is usually due to the lack of Java Runtime Environment or integration errors. In this case the ‘Transfer authorization’ panel is grey or there is a red X in the middle of the panel. This means that the Java Runtime Environment, which is not included in the Windows XP operating system, needs to be installed. The latest version can be downloaded from www.java.com or you can download it directly to your computer by clicking here.

Having installed the Java Runtime Environment, a security warning is displayed when first submitting the transfer order. You can authorize the continuous use of Java applet by clicking on the ‘Always’ button. You should not choose ‘Yes’ in this case as this way the authorization would only apply to a single transaction and therefore transactions could not be dispatched.  

If you are still unable to carry out the transaction, there may be problems with the Internet Explorer and the Java integration. This can easily be confirmed if you download Mozilla Firefox from firefox.hu. Mozilla Firefox is very easy to install and all settings of the Internet Explorer are imported when first starting the web browser. If you wish to use the NetBank, you will need a user name, a password and a code word list, which you receive after signing the contract on the use of NetBank services. Having clicked on the ‘Log on to NetBank’ button on the homepage, you will need to use that user name and password. Once you have logged in, you can access the following menus:

Printing and reading the NetBank User Guide (PDF file)

The file is always printed in Acrobat PDF format and therefore you will need Acrobat Reader 4.0 or the latest version. This software is free and can be downloaded from www.adobe.com. In the case of the Windows Operating System, the software recognizes the Firefox and Internet Explorer web browsers and installs the necessary modules. Then wherever in the NetBank system you click on the print button, you will be able to view the document in a new panel in PDF format, and you can print it if you wish.

Menus

Daily statement

Each day, when a change takes place in your account, a daily statement is displayed. Here you can view your daily statements and the transactions of that day.

Monthly statement

A monthly statement of any month you wish to view can be requested. In this case you can view all transactions of that month.

Account history

This is the list of transactions executed within the period you wish to view.

Search

If you are looking for a specific transaction and you do not remember the day of the transaction, this menu helps you find the one you need.

Daily transactions

Here you can view the list of transfer orders you executed in the system. The status menu shows the stage of the execution process:

  • Taken over: the NetBank system has examined the transfer order, approved the signature and taken over the transaction
  • Received by the account system: the transfer order has been recorded by the account system
  • Rejected by the account system: the transfer order has been rejected by the account system
  • Executed: the transfer order has been executed and sent to the beneficiary
  • Waiting: the transfer order has been recorded and is waiting to be executed (due to lack of funds or the value date)
  • Partially executed: Due to lack of funds, only part of the transferable amount has been forwarded
  • Withdrawn: you have withdrawn the transfer order
Blocked funds

You can view the distribution of blocked funds. This is usually the sum of the bankcard’s daily limit amount and the amount of bankcard transactions that have been executed but have not been confirmed yet.

Simple transfer

This is the simplest way of transferring funds. You enter the bank account number and the name of the beneficiary, the value date and the amount to be transferred, and the NetBank system carries out the transaction. It is also possible to withdraw the data of the beneficiary from the partner database. In this case, you can choose a beneficiary by clicking on the button by the name and then clicking on the ’Choose’ button. Once you have provided all the necessary data, click on the ’Record transaction’ button and the transfer order will be recorded and listed among the transfer orders to be signed. If you wish to submit another transfer order, provide again the necessary data and record the transfer order. All recorded transactions will be listed on the list of transfer orders to be signed. Any transfer order can be deleted from this list. If you find everything all right, enter a code word from your code word list and click on the ’Sign and send’ button. This way you are sending the recorded transfer orders to us on a secure basis. Soon you will receive an answer informing you that the transfer order has been or has not been forwarded successfully. If you have entered a wrong code word, you can try to send the recorded transfer orders by entering a new code word. We kindly ask you, in any case, to check your transfers in the daily transaction menu. A code word can be used only once. Please cross used code words off your list.

Quick transfer

If you regularly transfer money to a partner, you can record the profile of the whole transfer order.  As a result, there is no need to type in the data again and again into the note menu when you wish to pay your electricity bill, for example. Entering the quick transfer menu, you can see the list of recorded transfer order profiles. If you wish to record a new transfer order profile, click on the ’Record new transfer order profile’ button. In this case you will see a window similar to the one used for simple transfers, and you can provide the data necessary for the transfer as in the case of simple transfers. If wish to submit a transfer order on the basis of a profile that has been recorded before, click on the ’Name to be debited’ button on the list. You will see the data of the transfer order at the bottom of the screen, where you can still rewrite the transferable amount, the value date and the notes menu. If you have properly filled out these menus, you can send your transfer order by clicking on the ’Transfer’ button. You can modify or withdraw your transfer order chosen from the list of profiles by clicking on the ’Modify’ or ’Withdraw’ button.

Standing order

If you need to transfer the same amount on a regular basis, you can do it automatically if you set up a standing order. If you enter the standing order menu, you can see the recorded transfer orders. If you wish to record a new standing order, click on the ’New standing order’ button. In this case you have to provide the necessary data in a window similar to the one used in the case of simple transfers. You can set the beginning and ending value date of the transaction and the intervals between each transfer. Of course, you can withdraw or modify the transfer orders chosen from the list of standing orders by clicking on the ’Withdraw’ or ’Modify’ button. Having clicked on the ’Name to be debited’, you can view the chosen transfer order or even suspend or reactivate it.

Direct debit

You can pay by direct debit in the direct debit menu. In this case you authorize your credit institution to automatically debit your account to the credit of the given public utility company.

Deposits

You can view your time deposits, fix new ones or terminate the old ones.

Letter

You can write to us. If you authorize your letter with a code word, it will be deemed to have been forwarded by post and signed by you. This way you can submit your cash withdrawal request, ask for or terminate the blocking of certain funds, etc.

Code words

You can print a new code word list or can block the old one. If you have used almost all your code words, you can generate new ones in the new code word list menu. A new code word list can only be generated by entering a code word that has not been used yet: enter this code word and click on the ’Generate’ button. If the print option is set, the system will try to print it automatically. If the view option is set, it will only be displayed on the screen, and you can print it from there by following the instructions.  You can block the selected code word list by clicking on the ’Block’ button, and after that we cannot accept orders authorized by these blocked code words. Please treat your code word list with confidentiality as we carry out the requested transactions on the basis of these code words. If the suspicion arises that the code word list has been disclosed to an unauthorized person, block the code word list without delay.
